- Widening and re-routing FM 2001 from Sunfield MUD Development to SH 21 – The plan is to start this project at each end and then connect the middle section. White Wing Trail in front of Sunfield will be extended with a bridge to connect with a bend in FM 2001, allowing straight travel on FM 2001 between IH 35 and SH 21. The initial right-of-way has been acquired and this project should start in the Fall of 2020
- Widening Main Street between Cabelas Drive and Railroad Street – Signal modification at Bradfield Drive and Main Street. Extension of sidewalk on Main and improved access to Bradfield Park. Work should end by September 1, 2020
- $2 million Study of SH 21 Between Hwy 80 in San Marcos to the Hays/ Travis County Line. Analyzing traffic, population projections, environmental constraints, existing buildings, historic sites, and school bus patterns. The plan will include recommendations for future changes to lanes and intersections as well as sidewalk and shoulder improvements.
- Extension of Robert S. Light to FM 2770 – This will give the area its first overpass over the railroad. This extension will also relieve traffic in downtown Buda and divert trucks away from Main Street.
- Burleson Street in Kyle – Reconstruction widening and utility extensions in this part of Kyle. (Center Street to Marketplace Avenue) This project improves visibility and adds turn lanes. Completion Summer 2020
